Tiina Sainila is an architect from Finland. She lives and works in a remote island of Hailuoto as an architect but also with different art projects. Tiina has a strong dance background and a lot of experience of teaching dance, architecture, sound&movement.

Tiina runs a company SAIKA design together with her partner Mikko Kanninen offering both architectural design and different kind of artistic workshops: architectural education, "sound&movement" -workshops, dance video workshops, snow building etc.

She has been working for art organization Hai Art, which is one of the Soccos partners. SAIKA design's snow building project "Kiemura" started the co-operation with Hai Art and it has continued with several workshops and project management tasks.

Tiina is also teaching at Oulu University of Applied Sciences.
