The main interest of Marta Romaszkan concerns relation of body and sound, as well as pure movement research. Her research of movement was primarily based on Eastern martial arts, namely on Tai Chi which she studied in China and Aiki which she is still studying with Master Masato Matsuura (Ecole SAYU) in Paris. She was a scholar of the Alternative Dance Academy by Art Station Foundation by Grażyna Kulczyk (2012/2014). She performs, teaches and aims to use the knowledge from body techniques in different contexts and collaborations. Since 2014, together with Gaja Kaja Karolczak she established Sens of Movement Foundation (www.som.org.pl). which mission focuses on unfolding the theoretical and practical knowledge of the body and movement and empowering it in the artistic, social and academic context.
